Who receives a subnet's rewards

Each subnet's alpha rewards are split three ways.

18% goes to the subnet owner. The remaining 82% is divided equally: 41% to miners and 41% to validators and the people staking behind them.

Within the validators' half, each validator first keeps its take, then shares the rest with its nominators according to how much each has staked.

Root stakers get a slice too. Part of the validators' half on every subnet is set aside for stake on root. The size of that slice depends on how much TAO is staked on root compared with how much alpha the subnet has issued, so it shrinks as a subnet grows.
