eTAO
eTAO lets each subnet owner choose how the subnet's alpha rewards are split. Before it, every subnet paid the same split: 18% to the owner, 41% to validators and 41% to miners.
An owner can now move those shares, within limits. The owner can take anywhere from 0 to 33%, including nothing at all. Validators can get at most 50%. Miners must keep at least 33%, and a subnet can pay them well above 41%. On a subnet launched by a crowdloan, the owner's share cannot go below 18%, since it pays the contributors.
Two more slots, burn and recycle, exist in the split but are fixed at zero for now.
An owner can change the split once a week at most, and the first change can be made right away. The limit belongs to the subnet, so handing it to a new owner does not reset it.
Every subnet starts on the old 18/41/41 split, so nothing changes until an owner decides it should.
