Your address
Your address is how other people send you TAO. It is a long string of letters and numbers.
Native Bittensor addresses start with 5. This is the kind your wallet shows for holding and staking TAO. Bittensor also runs smart contracts, and accounts there have a second kind of address that starts with 0x, like Ethereum's. If an address starts with neither, it is not a Bittensor address.
Your address is public, and sharing it is safe. Anyone can see an address's balance and history on a block explorer, but an address alone cannot be used to move funds.
Think of it like an account number you can give out freely. Your seed phrase is the part you never give out.
